Position: Power Forward/Center

Naturalized Filipino player who played in the NBA for the Washington Wizards from 2005 to 2012 and the Brooklyn Nets in 2012 until 2014. Last June 2014 President Aquino  signed the papers granting Andre's Filipino citizenship. He helped the Philippines in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Definitely he will be a big help to Gilas this coming FIBA OQT for Rio Olympics. He can shoot from the outside, play under the rim and defend well. Last June 8 in their tune-up game vs Iran, he scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds being Gilas' main man for that game.

2. June Mar Fajardo
Height:6 ft 11 in (2.11 m)
Position: Center

Fajardo has 2 PBA MVP awards across his name, this PBA Star will help us match against big guys. Last 2014 his numbers in Gilas is not that much impressive, but i hope that he will be a big impact in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament. He should be more effective in the post like the way he plays in the PBA.

3. Jayson Castro
Height: 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m)
Position: Point Guard

The best point guard in Asia. Jayson's lightning speed is his ace against bigger opponents. His quickness makes him hard to defend, he can also shoot from the outside. Jayson has been already a veteran in international basketball. He will be the main guard of the Gilas, after Jimmy Alapag's retirement.

4. Gabe Norwood
Height: 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m)
Position: Shooting guard / Small forward

The best defender that Gilas have. Gabe can defend multiple positions and gave his opponents a hard time in offense. He can also play point guard, his versatility is very fit for international basketball. We all remember his poster dunk on Luis Scola of Argentina. Because of Gabe's jumping ability and athleticism he is very exciting to watch.

5. Terrence Romeo
Height: 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m)
Position: Shooting guard / Point Guard

Because of his dribbling skills the fans love him. When he's holding the ball you should not blink because at a glimpse his defenders ankle could be broken. Romeo's dribbling ability is his advantage against taller guards. Romeo can also get hot from the 3pt line and he is very hard to stop when he gets his rhythm going.

6. Calvin Abueva
Height: 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m)
Position: Small Forward

Calvin "The Beast" Abueva, he's like a beast when playing in the court because of his energy. He may be small for his position but he has a very big heart. He's not afraid of banging bodies with big guys or falling on the floor hard just to get the ball.

7. Ranidel De Ocampo
Height: 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m)
Position: Power Forward

A PBA and Gilas veteran, he can play inside as well as shoot outside. Ranidel is a very consistent player, and because of his international experience and good basketball skills his teammates Fajardo, Aguilar and Rosario can learn a lot from him and make them a better player inside the paint.

8. Marc Pingris
Height: 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m)
Position: Power Forward

"The Pinoy Sakuragi" that's his moniker, Hanamichi Sakuragi is the main character of the manga series "Slam Dunk". Ping's style of play is close to Sakuragi, he is a very tenacious rebounder even he is a bit small for his position. Pingris' heart and love of the game shows the he plays the Filipino kind of basketball.

9. Japeth Aguilar
Height: 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m)
Position: Power Forward/ Center

Last June 8 he plays a good game against Iran in their tune up game. This is the Japeth Aguilar we want to see in the FIBA OQT. He needs to be an efficient player, he is very athletic but Japeth should not always go for a dunk like what we are seeing in the PBA. Japeth should improve his footwork so that he can be more efficient inside the paint.

10. Ray Parks
Height: 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m)
Position: Shooting Guard/ Point Guard

Ray recently played in the NBA D-League for the Texas Legends. He's experience in the D-League will make him a good addition to Gilas' pool. He's also very exciting to watch because of his athleticism and good basketball skills. Parks is also a good scorer and that a very big help for Gilas.

11. Jeff Chan
Height: 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m)
Position: Shooting Guard

Jeff is a great shooter. Any team should have a shooter that is very reliable and Jeff Chan is that kind of player. When he find his rythm he's hard to stop.

12. LA Tenorio
Height: 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m)
Position: Point Guard

Veteran point guard from Ginebra, LA has a very deep experience in international basketball. He is the hero in the 2012 William Jones Cup. Some critics say that there are better guards than Tenorio who can suit up for Gilas, but Tenorio is a veteran that can help the team anytime.
13. Troy Rosario
Height: 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m)
Position: Power Forward

This PBA Rookie shows impressive numbers in the PBA. He's also a the only Gilas Cadet who is in the line up. Troy has a great future behind him. He's very athletic and good in defense. Troy leads the Gilas Cadets in the 2016 SEABA and bring home the gold medal,

14. Ryan Reyes
Height: 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m)
Position: Shooting Guard

Ryan Reyes is a very good defender. He's also a decent shooter from beyond the arc. He also made history by making 10 steals and breaking the all-time PBA record for most steals made in a single game. In their tune up game against he finished with 12 points on 4 of 5 shooting from beyond the arc.
