SMB advances to PBA semis after dumping Phoenix 115-96. The Beermen is now waiting for the winner of Star-Rain or Shine matchup on the best-of-three quarterfinals.

Alex Cabagnot led the Beermen with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

"With this win we are so happy because we meet the expectations of so many people especially the management and they are expecting us to be in the finals." SMB coach Leo Asutria said on the post game interview.

Jameel McKay led the Fuel Masters with 20 points and 13 rebounds but it is not enough to force a rubber match against SMB.
